Hand-me-downs are love

I have zero issue with hand-me-down items now, unlike before. When we were preparing for Pio's arrival, I was very particular about purchasing new and branded items. I guess its just a natural thing for (first time) parents to always give the best to their kids, quality and quantity wise. But somewhere along the parenting journey, practicality and frugality are essential lessons we had to learn especially after finding out that those tiny little shoes which cost more than our own no longer fit, onesies worn only twice or thrice were already outgrown, feeding bottles left unused because he refused to suck them for some unknown reason.

We are re-echoing the lesson by handing down these sturdy little sandals to their next tiny owner. Pio was second to use them with his older cousin as the original wearer. What a happy thought that another set of feet will walk and run wild with these pair on!
