Museum Trip: The Museong Pambata
Since he hit age 1, Pio's curiosity for the outdoors has been extra ordinary. I couldn't help but be swept up on his sense of adventure and how he gets so ecstatic about the tiniest of things he sees beyond the walls of our home.
This unplanned museum trip last week made the little adventurer happy beyond words! Witnessing his wonder and love for exploration is a blessing.
On the other hand, we have to learn more a lot about interacting with other toddlers in public spaces. We were there with a bunch of kids running in and out of the play areas, bumping other kids and acting extra wild. I was just so proud that Pio was able to keep his cool after being elbowed by some bigger kids (despite having Ate Joy by her side). It was pretty hard keeping my own cool at that moment but my little boy handled himself very well. It is one of those unanticipated moments of parenting that requires careful thinking, how do you teach your kid to respectfully stand up for himself? I know we will figure it out soon.
Then again, hooray for adventures!
